Our Happy customers From Inner West Sydney

Antonio and his family and were moving house out of their old 3 bedder on Hilly St to a new apartment on Tennyson Rd Mortlake. They also wanted to put some things into storage Antonio’s in-laws’ place in Burwood.

Antonio was quite stressed about the move and decided to take the day off from work. We advised that he label what was going to each address. We also asked hihm to let us know all the contacts and access details and each address. He did all this which made the move very smooth indeed.

At their Hilly St apartment, there were 3 beds to dismantle and other furniture to wrap. The men did it all carefully including helping to unplug the washing machine. The entire job was finished in 7 hours and cost $820 in total.

One of our regular customers is a real estate agency based in Five Dock. They booked us to deliver some furniture from Mortlake to Five Dock for their client.

It was a last minute booking so we could only do the job in the afternoon. We communicated well with the agency, letting them know when we would arrive an hour or so before the team arrived.

Since we only moved a few items, it was a very easy job and took only 2.5 hours and cost $325 in total.

Did you know? Tips for living in Mortlake

On the Northern tip of Breakfast Point, Mortlake is a small suburb by the water with gated apartment complexes, manicured lawns and beautiful views. If you’re moving there it’s good to check strata fees and building management rules as they are quite strict.

Mortlake is fantastic for retirees, boomers and generally people who are attached to gated community living. There isn’t a lot of public transport and is difficult to access except via ferry on the Cabarita wharf.

There are pleasant parks, golfing and waterside views. On Tennyson Rd there are also cafes and a few restaurants with a fine dining menu and a semi casual feel.
