3-bedroom townhouse to the Central Coast

Marcus sold his townhouse on Nassau Ln to move to the Central Coast.  His house was beautiful and chic.  He had artwork, vintage furniture in mint condition, a state-of-the-art sound system and wanted a fixed price as well as a top end service.  We offered a free inspection to write up an inventory of what had to go and what would stay in the house.

After the inspection the move supervisor decided the job would be $1600 with a 10t truck to make sure all his items would travel in one trip.  Once he approved the quote, we delivered cardboard boxes the next day as he was keen to get packing. The removalists took great care with his belongings and the house as it was due to be handed over.  There wasn’t a single scratch and Marcus was very happy with his move.

Moving out from family home into her first apartment

Amber was leaving her family home in Mosman for the fist time to live in a one-bedroom apartment on Macdonald St.  She had very few belongings and just a few large items and had never moved before.  Her building manager at Erskineville had specific rules for booking the lift and loading zone. We spoke to Amber over the phone to timeline her move and recommend a start time.

As she was not very experienced she later asked for a Certificate of Currency as public liability insurance was required by the building management.  We sent this to her straight away.  Since she didn’t have her own transport she asked if she could ride with the men.  This is not a standard practice but since we felt for her we accommodated.  We made her aware that our insurance didn’t cover passengers and she accept this as part of our Terms and Conditions.

In the end, her move was very simple and took only 2 hours and cost $300 including the call out to Mosman.  She was very thankful that we were easy to reach over the phone and helped her at every stage to book and plan her move.

Did you know? Tips for living in Erskineville

Leafy, quiet yet accessible, Concord is perfect for families, retirees and people looking for the best of both worlds.  It’s easy enough to get to the CBD through Concord West station or through the buses that stop at the Burwood interchange.  With shops and restaurants on Majors Bay Rd and close access to the major shopping precincts in Rhodes and Burwood, there is enough to do.  On the other hand, there are also great parks. The houses are large with plenty of space in the front yard and in the gardens.

Concord is great suburb to invest in with high growth yields especially in units and apartments.  The median rent is $750pw for houses and $500pw for units.  As for buying, the median house price is $1,850,000 while the median for units is $995,000.  There is a lot of development going on in the area and there is plenty of potential for long term capital growth.
