Our Happy customers From Inner West Sydney

Our customers in Balmain are some of the happiest customers we have had. They recommend us for our fantastic service in review sites as well as referring us to friends and family. We have done every kind of job for our customers here from a home packing services, to delivering cardboard boxes and packing material, to a full team move with 4 removalists and 2 trucks and a van

Our customers in Balmain NSW have different requirements but they are all important to us. Most of the time people do not move out of the Balmain, because it is such a liveable suburb, and residents do not want to leave it. The ones that decide to move out of it, choose to relocate to another state, usually Queensland.

Rebecca, was moving out from Balmain to the Gold Coast, due to family circumstances she had to move out in the next few days and due to time constrains she wanted a quote for the full moving service, including cardboard boxes and packing. The furniture she was moving included an old piano, antique wardrobes, vintage sofas, and an aquarium. The access was very narrow, and there was no space for parking anywhere close to her house.

After the inspection the supervisor decided that the best way to load was to use the van, leaving the large truck further down the street and ferry all items down with the van. The day before we packed all items and on moving day, we used a  three man team. The cost for the whole next day delivery interstate relocation package was $5000, which included cardboard boxes, moving a piano, a fine packing service, and next day delivery.

Sophie was moving from a three-storey house in Worlsey street to a terraced house in Darling street. She was looking for the removalist in Balmain, when she saw one of our blue trucks and asked boys to have a look at her place for a quote. After Sophie visited our website, she decided to order 30 plastic moving boxes and butcher paper from us. In the end we went with hourly rate for the 3 men, a van and a truck service. The loading took over 5 hours but unloading was done in less than 3 with an overall bill of $1500.

With some of the highest rental and home buyers’ prices in Sydney, living in Balmain is a dream for a lot of Australians. It is both historical and vibrant. With heritage listed homes, it was once a home to many industrial workers in the mining, metal and ship building industries as well as to factory workers in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Balmain is also renown for its shopping. The weekly Balmain market on Saturdays has food, clothes, art and craft, antiques. Along Darling St, there are many boutique shops such as Quintessential Duckegg Blue and Stem. As for the restaurants and watering holes, there are too many to name to do the suburb justice: The Riverview, The Balmain hotel, The Cottage, The Cat and Fiddle.

Very child-friendly, Balmain is a fantastic suburb to raise a family in. It’s got good schools, lots of parks and the Dawn Fraser Baths.

Balmain is highly accessible. It has a few wharves for city bound ferry lines and a several bus lines through Darling st.
