Our Happy customers From Eastern Suburbs Sydney
Pauline and William bought a unit in Rose Bay for their retirement. They were downsizing their life in Darling Point and needed a few jobs done. They called V-Move and, with our friendly team, organised a full day with our movers. Before the move day, they hired our environmentally friendly plastic moving crates to do some of the packing by themselves. For their four bedroom house, they paid $409 for 80 boxes for three weeks. We delivered them and would pick them up free of charge.
The plastic boxes are better for the environment because they are reused. We clean and sterilise them between each job and their sturdiness and minimal packing materials produce a lot less waste than the cardboard box alternative.
In the second week, the big day came. Four men and two trucks came out to their house and started packing everything up. The couple directed us to separate the furniture they wanted in their new Rose Bay unit and the furniture that was to be sold, donated, or recycled. One truck went to the new place, and the other transported the unwanted furniture to an auction house, a charity, a private buyer, and the recycling depot.
The job took six hours and cost $1320 plus call out fees. By the time the V-Move team left, Pauline and William had most of the rooms set up and plastic moving boxes to unpack in their own time. When the moving crates were empty, they called us to get them removed. Their bins weren’t full and nothing had to be left out on the street for the council to come pick up.
V-Move doesn’t just move houses, we also specialise in offices and business removals, too. A Rose Bay customer at a primary school used our furniture removals service to take away the old and broken chairs from several classrooms. Two men and a truck came and picked up and delivered to a recycling depot without fuss. Once a business uses our services, they always call back.
